The preschool years are filled with wonder, growth, and big developmental leaps, especially at age four, when children begin preparing for the exciting transition to Transitional Kindergarten (TK).

At Morningside Children’s Center, we create a joyful, caring environment where children feel safe to explore, make friends, and discover what they’re capable of. As their confidence grows, so does their readiness for the structure and expectations of TK and elementary school.

Through hands-on learning, guided play, and meaningful projects, our 3/4s class gently builds the foundational skills children need for school success.

Every day, children practice:

• early literacy and language

• number sense and problem solving

• listening and following direction

• independence and responsibility

• cooperation and social skills

• confidence in a classroom routine

These experiences help children develop not only academic readiness, but also the emotional and social skills that truly prepare them to thrive in TK and beyond.
